Special obligations of parents or guardians

Parents and guardians are entirely responsible and liable for the activities, safety and welfare including evacuation in an emergency of children or vulnerable adults in their care, and Centre staff may not be asked to undertake child-minding or act in loco parentis. Any child under the age of 5 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.

No child under the age of 14 may enter or be permitted to remain in the aMazing Hedge Puzzle or Butterfly Zoo enclosures unless a responsible adult (aged 18 years or older, known to the child and with a valid ticket) is in the enclosure to ensure their safety, behaviour and evacuation in an emergency. No child under the age of 8 may enter the Laser Ops enclosure and a responsible adult must sign the Player’s Declaration Form on behalf of any player under the age of 18.

Failure to fully execute the obligation of care throughout the visit in return for the quid pro quo concession of a reduced price for the child's or concessionary adult’s ticket is a breach of contract.
